The only provider service I can find that use a password is the Homegroup provider.
Try booting without ANY network connection: NO ethernet cable connected and NO Wi-Fi.
If that fails, try booting is safe mode WITHOUT network support.
In the controll pannel, open the Administrative tools. Next, open Services. (you need to be logged in as Administrator OR right-click and sellect "Run as administrator")
Find "Homegroup Provider" and double click it.
Set it to:
Start AUTOMATIC.
Next, sellect the "Recuperation" tab.
For first fail, second fail and other fails, sellect "Restart the service".
Click OK.
You should be done. Restart normaly.
