Anyone have experience with setting up the communications side of things with these tills to a pc?

yes we are all good i think with baud rates now and i found an old printout of the SRV parameters(900) from a working till so i think that is ok.I am stuck on the file allocation(970) and only have the settings that it defaults to after master reset.which is:

This is what i need help changinf to the correct settings for RS232 communications.
We have matched baud rates on tills and PC (9600) 7 data bit.1 stop bit and odd parity and we are using com port 1 which is set up to 9600.

Thanks Richard.That manual should be a help.I have the programming manual now also.Will see how i get on but i suspect i will have to sort out the parameters for rs232 first.

As I remember, it was done with add on boards in that series. You need to have the right cable pinouts and set the baud rate etc. You need to use the service manual, prog manual and comms manual usually to get all of the settings and connections. This is the comms manual
