Why doesn't the washing machine fast spin. It follows the washing program up to the point of a fast spin at which it emits a chirping sound.

I've checked,(1)the water fills and empties the drum ok (2)the lower connection to the pressure sensor, just before the waste pump, is clear of debris (3)there are no obvious component failures on the motor drive control board (4)the motor and drum bearings are ok, as at low speeds they do not emit any telling noises when turning the drum clockwise and anticlockwise during a wash (5) the spin was not set to OFF.

What else could I check out?

If the main module is faulty is it possible to identify the failed component? I could then replace the failed component.
