Warning lights stay on. 01 Avensis 2.0L Diesel?

after l started the engine, the following lights stayed on: oil level, fuel filtre and battery. The oil level is ok, but the battery is discharging. Apart from that the engine runs fine. why these lights all at the same time?

A failing battery often causes spurious warning lights.

Sort out your battery issue and you should find it cures the warning lights issue too.
