Secondary control panel veritas 8 making a beep?

Hi sorry I have tried to find a solution before posting but can't.
The secondary control panel I have in our bedroom for our veritas 8 has started to make intermittent beeps. It's not often and isn't loud but it always seems to happen during the night!!
I have opened the unit to see if it had a battery back up but it is mains operated only.
There are no tamper lights or issues with the main panel.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

It IS NOT mains powered.
It is a 12 volt system, running on a 12volt battery back up.
Mains goes into the panel with 12VDC running to peripherals.

Get a test meter and check it.

Then come back with how many bleeps it makes.
As the number of bleeps will indicate the fault.

Try reading the manual, it tells you.

ThAt really isn't a helpful answer. I think I would know if my alarm clock was beeping not the keypad!!

I actually meant a remote keypad and it is mains powered with four wires going into the connections.

If it is a 2nd keypad it will not have mains power in it.

You have a faulty alarm clock
