flooding of passanger footwell in vw sharan 1997?

after very heavy rain my passenger footwell floods and the water finds its way into the area under the passenger front seat where the unit controlling the vehicle alarm and central locking is located.

Chech the bulkhead drains aren't blocked with debris,sometimes it is very difficult to source a leak,you could try with someone with a hose on the outside and someone inspecting the inside,good luck.
