Replacement Twin Energy regulator on Creda Solarglo Cooker Mod No. 48341?

Looking at the Creda (Diamond H) replacement regulator can I use the same connections (ie numbered/letter) on the new regulator as the old one ( yellow wire/P2 old-- yellow wire/P2 new)?.
The cooker has had NO work carried out on it before and we have owned it from new.

Hi Kenjo,
Thanks for your reply-- have now fitted the new controller successfully, there was an instruction sheet supplied with the controller which matched your suggestions.
Once again many thanks.

If the new switch does not have an instruction sheet showing a mod, and the numbers tally it should be ok to change lead for lead, number for number. Nos are usually P1 and P2 mains, 2 and 4 loads, s1 and s2 neon lamp, or pilot neon lamp. Before switching on we would check the resistance at the input t/block with mains off, Probable readings 50ohms/24ohms if zero ohms do not switch on it will be a dead short (BANG!)
