Try mixing up a weak solution of bleach and water, put it into an old spray squirter bottle (like the ones the liquid cleaners come in) and spray the shower with it. Leave it a while then rinse with water. You should see almost instant results. To keep it nice, try using a daily shower spray which looks like clear watery stuff. I buy it from Aldi and Lidl and spray the shower after use - it gets rid of the water droplets so they don't dry on the walls and doors and make stains. Only thing with the shower spray - don't breath in when you are spraying it - its nasty stuff!
