Paul I service all brands of roll laminators around the pittsburg pennsylvania area. Feel free to give me a call.

The bearings on the red rollers, sometimes the grease turns to rock hard. this causes the rollers to stall and can stall he entire machine. In addition the motors can go bad, and stall.

the interlock switches may fail, the control panels membrame swithch can cause stopping too

It's a heavy duty laminator about £1600

It runs - stops - cools down - and starts again.

I would guess that an overheat sensor causes the machine to stop - when it cools to an acceptable temperature the sensor resets itself and the laminator starts up again.

If this is what's happening then either the sensor is working as it should and things are too hot - or the sensor is too sensitive and the temperature is within limits.

But I know nothing - my idea is just a guess.

Good luck...
