Are there any lights? Does water enter the machine? They don't usually move until they have water.
How you determine what is wrong with it is to compare what it usually does against what it's doing now - then you can put together a theory - for instance - if you see lights then you can discount a blown fuse - if you see water entering then you can eliminate the inlet valve. If your drum fails to turn then you might suspect the motor - a drive belt - the control electronics.
