Cable release front drivers seat on 2003 K12 Nissan Micra S on use is loose no tension so presume cable is broken or has come off garages do not want to know I was charged £10 for just looking did nothing and suggested nothing probably never looked anyway. So annoying, I want to sell the car but must get this fixed.

It may mean the seat has to come out for a proper look to see what the problem is,as you say,probably a cable/linkage problem,don't understand why the garage didn't do this.
