The float switch in the sump is raised by the water level and activated. Causes for this are as follows( in most likely order)..... 1)There is a fluff blockage in the pipe from the sump to the container. 2) There is a lot of fluff etc in the water in the sump which is blocking the pump....3) the float is jammed in upward position....4) the pump is faulty. To access this area you need to unplug the machine and remove the side panel on the condenser side, remove float and pump and clean out the sump. Cheers
