How to change heating element on washing machine?

I have a John Lewis washing machine model JLWM 1407 and the water is not heating. Is this the element and how do I change it.

Sorry but how can we know if the element is faulty from this side of the internet? It could be a faulty element, bad wiring, faulty thermostat or no power supplied to the element i.e. faulty control board. The only way to know is use a multimeter and test each part until you identify the fault. Otherwise you are just guessing & may end up paying far more than you need to. If you don't have the test meter or don't know how to fault find the machine then I suggest you leave it and call someone out.
