Every 12 months without fail. 10W40 semi-synthetic such as Castrol Magnatec should be fine. Make sure you renew the filter with a top quality one at the same time.

If you go to a motor factors, give them your reg no. you will get the correct oil,personally I would change oil and filter at least once a year regardless of mileage, not sure on your motor but a lot have timing chains now and they don`t like dirty oil, even if your service schedule says two years and 20k between changes I would ignore and change regardless but it is up to you.
