how to fix my hotpoint tumble dryer TDC62P?

my tumble dryer is not heating up, the heating element in back has broken on 1 element, will this be the cause of the fault,or would it be the thermostats?

Hi,

No it will be the element if it has physically broken. You can get a replacement Heater Assembly from here:
