If you are using the original windows install and there is a recovery partition you have to press a key as the pc or laptop starts up...
Google your model of computer for the key to press for factory reset!!
If you have loaded windows yourself you need the recovery disk!!
Also if you can get into windows, there may be a program for recovery!!

you need the windows disk to do that , to restall it back onto the pc, but you can do a system restore, look it up on how to do this for the windows system you have,, that will take it back in time to a place when it worked ok , just look up( System Restore)

You do not say the machine or operating system or what causes you to want to do this - but no matter.

Only the factory can do the thing you want to do - the closest you can achieve is to make a new installation of the Operating System and applications.

Whatever your problem is there are probably other things you can do to solve it - there is no magic button to press.
