Headlight fault?

I have a corsa sxi 1.2 2002 and I'm trying to style it up I got some ice blue bulbs for the main beam and I put them in and now my driver side light isn't working all other lights work just not this one someone told me it's the light alignment that's interfering with that particular side but I don't know how to sort it and even when I put the old bulb back in it stays the same please help

just changed the lamps in the son's 1.2sxi. don't understand why light alignment would cause your problem. tricky to get at to unless you remove bumper and headlight unit. assuming all was ok before you changed lamps it looks like you have disturbed something or popped a fuse so check the contact areas are clean and you haven't pulled out or damaged any wiring at the connectors. make sure you have plugged lamp in holder the correct way. if you have a meter, set to 12vdc and with the ignition and lights on put the red lead (+ve) on the terminal connections one at a time whilst holding the black lead (-ve) on the car body or engine. do this on the working light side first then compare the readings on the non working side. if no 12vdc check fuses. (Haynes manual). if 12vdc suspect faulty earth or lamp.
