alternator belt vauxhall combo 1700 deisel?

how do i tension the belt. it appears to be slack.can rotate it 90degrees. recently fitted new by garage.

rotating it 90 degrees sounds like normal to me,I think there is an auto tensioner on these so you can`t really go wrong.
