renault scenic ?

Noise when i put in first gear and relase the clutch it makes a squaling noise .only happens in first gear and does not happen all the time

check alternator belt is tight,sometimes it can squeal when you set off [worth a check before removing box]

not sure if yours has a dual mass flywheel but sounds like your release bearing is at fault,either way it`s a g/box out job
