my break lights don't come on ?

i have a kango 1.5 diesel van the break lights don't come on i have checked fuse and under the pedal all is good so could it be that when a bulb goes none work or could it be some thing else.

My daughter had no brake lights and asked me to check them out for her. All three bulbs had blown. I suppose they had failed one by one but no-one told her until none of them worked.

I made sure they were replaced by the correct 15w bulb and, hey presto - three brake lights again!
