sounds like the tear drop bearing at rear of the machine,if its been noisy for a while it will have worn the drum shaft,if its an old one you may be able just replace the bearing and drum shaft,if its a newer model its a complete drum you will need ,look inside the drum at the middle of the back of the drum,if you see screws then you can just unbolt it and fit new shaft,if its rivets its a new drum needed
