Eurosec cp8l alarm?

Hi
Please help me if you can. We are decorating at the moment and after taking the pir down on the landing we now have the message !!service due! On our alarm keypad. We expected it to go off but thought that putting our user code in would reset it. I have managed to find a copy of the installation instructions and it states that I need a code generator. Can you help I've noticed that you have a code generator? I'm not sure how to inbox a private message to you please advise
Many thanks
Ian

It will tell you how to default the panel and restore factory settings in your installation manual, but going on previous experience with the eurosec's, most have been locked by installers who take advantage of the engineers code lock feature by starting their engineering codes with a nine .

Read the manual :)

I am in a rented property but its going to be mid December before he can send anyone. There have been a few burglaries in the area and I'm worried about leaving the alarm off.

Ah you are in rented property so it's your landlords responsibility to sort it out.

It isn't asking for the anti code reset

I don't know any codes and the alarm was installed in 2004 and my landlord does not have any record of who installed it. I don't know how to get the seed code that you are talking about. Is there any way that I can get the system to generate it?

Nope when you removed pir you created a tamper and to cLear that you need to enter the engineering code.

Is it asking for a anti code reset is it displaying a four digit seed code because without that code one can't be generated.

Can you contact the engineer who last had contact with the system?

The display just says !!service due! And that is all I don't have any codes at all except for my own user code. When I try anything it makes the sound as if it is setting for 3 seconds and then nothing?

I dont have an engineer code from what info is in manual I need someone who can generate a code and then I enter my user code. Then if I understand it correctly it will reset

How you know it's set up for anti code reset?

If it isn't displaying a four digit seed code when you try a full set then it's only set up for engineers reset and for that you will need the engineering code.

Do you know the engineering code?
