i have the same problem but i didnt get a manual with mine how do i adjust the freezer temp

The freezer compartment is factory set and not adjustable. www.hotpointservice.co.uk go to instruction booklets and look at hotpoint refrigeration for model 8596. I have the same problem and found the handbook here. Hope this is of help
