Dimplex storage heater model cxls24n ?

Hi have a storage heater which is not storing heat at night so not giving out heat during day it is a convector heater and works fine when switched on manually all other heaters in house working ok it is a dimplex modell cxls24n

Charges up ok but have to put thermostat on 7 for it to discharge heat , but cuts out after only a few minutes..

A CXL has a over temperature trip that can be reset,it is inside top right and is a silver tab about 5mm x 5mm in a red and white housing

have you put anything on it to dry ????if you have you will either have melted the lead fuse or tripped the t.o.c. thermal l overload cut out
