Nissan Micra K10 1988 plate, heater blower?

The motor works fine, but the unit will only blow out cold air on every setting. Motor mechanics is not my thing, but if it's a simple job I don't mind having a go.
How easy is it to solve for a novice ?
(I note comments on other posts regarding the resistor).

If your fan is working on every setting then it isn't your resistor at fault, firstly check you have coolant in your system, look into the reservoir, give the motor a rev and check you have circulation to test your water pump, also check your system is getting up to temperature,if so then a likely culprit will be your heater control valve, not sure on yours but some are cable operated but a lot of modern motors now are electrically operated, check it is not seized preventing circulation into your heater radiator, good luck
