My father has problems with the central locking on his 55 plate Astra 1.6. The doors lock and un-lock ok using both the lock and the zapper but the boot always remains unlocked. A few weeks ago it was the opposite problem - the boot could not be unlocked and now it opens but will not lock!!!
Any suggestions please???
Had one like this a while ago and it was the rear release button/rubber switch which was full of water/dirt, don`t know if yours will be the same as it was on a newer Astra,but worth a look also,good luck.
