Potterton kingfisher 0-max knob?

Does anyone know what the 0-max knob is for on a potterton kingfisher boiler & what it should be on, mines currently set on 2......?
Laura, December 2014
It sets the temperature of the heated water - too high and you risk being scalded from the hot water or burned by the radiators - mine is set to 2 as well.

Try it on Max for a day or two and see what happens!
