My brand new hotpoint washing machine keeps flashing and beeping on the washing cycle. It worked ok at the start of the cycle then when it was nearing the end of the washing part of the cycle the light continued to flash and the machine emitted a low beep. I moved on to the rinse and spin parts of the cycle.
