How can I remove broken metal part of two bulbs in top oven of Stoves 900EF built-in oven? Glass parts just came away in my hand leaving metal in place. Cannot remove with pliers as I did before. Adhesive has clearly failed.

try tightening it first,clockwise then turn anti clockwise this loosens the thread in bulb base

TURN OFF THE POWER

Jamb something - a pair of pointed nose pliers - a screwdriver - something substantial - into the base of the bulb.

Apply a turning force anticlockwise.

Unscrewing is the only way to remove the screw thread of the bulb - pulling it out is not feasible - it screwed in so it will have to screw out.
