Aeg Favorit sensor logic dishwasher?

Hi my dishwasher has stopped working and is flashing error code open the tap could anyone advise as to what the repair is for this fault.

The machine is asking you to give it some water...

Either the water supply has been turned off or more probably the solenoid operated inlet-valve has failed.
