I have an 02 406 hdi. The engine management light comes on saying antipolution fault. It mainly comes on on cold starts hills and long runs.if i pull over it usually eventually resects itself and continues to run fine. Been told it could be either catalic converter or eletronic air control. Car recently went through mot and flew emissions test.how could this problem be fixed please.

Take it to a mechanic with Peugeot planet diagnostics,
with this system access to the live data can tell you if the DPF is clogged and to what percentage.
Might even be possible to run a regeneration cycle on it and clean it through.
