P078073 Thermostat switch Discontinued?

I have been advised by Rangemaster that the switch P078073 is obsolete and there is no replacement. Does any one have any idea what I can do other than replace the entire range!
Thank you

I found a picture of it here...

Clearly it's not a thermostat - just a micro switch that works as a simple on/off device and sits on a control shaft.

There seems to be nothing much technical about it - the cooker manufacturer will buy them in by the lorry load.
