How can I rest my geller et 6600 after it's been unplugged ?

My geller et 6600 has been unplugged and lost everything, all it does is show ! And "a" with a curly tail when I press any key. I don't need a full program just want to use it as a calculater/spare till.
Appease can anyone help

The ET6600 is an odd model so there isn't much information.
