Cigarette lighter keeps blowing fuses and affects the radio. Please have you any suggestions.??I need to use the cigarette lighter for sat nav and assesories. Please help!!

Yes - throw the lighter element in the bin and buy a replacement - it will be the bit that gets hot causing your problem - the holder will have nothing to do with it.

As a test - take your lighter to a friend's car and blow their fuse.

In the UK Amazon will sell you one for under £3
