Verista alarm plebes for two minutes?

My verista alarm plebes for two minutes every time the front door opens. It stops after that.
The actual alarm outside keeps flashing.
I tried to reset it and input my security number to no avail.

take the cover off the main panel the tamper will set off the alarm use you code to stop it then have a look at the battery then swap like for like. best to turn the mains off before opening the panel.
