How can i fix my renault megane, 2008 loud band, check gearbox limp mode?

My 2008 automatic renault megane, makes a loud bang usually everytime i drive it, mabye less, the check gearbox message appears and the car goes into limp mode, when i switch the car off and on again it runs fine
how can i fix this?

At a guess: sticking solenoids. Visit an automatic gearbox specialist to check them out and replace if necessary.
