Could also be a bit of grit in the solenoid valve diaphragm. Either way its unlikely to be repairable. Just see if www.showerdoctor.com can offer a new SOV. If its anything like my Triton Opal, replacement is pretty easy. just

Switch off at the isolator plus, If there's a fuse, take it out and put it in your pocket. If there's a breaker, trip that out and tape over the lever.
