Well I know nothing about cars but I soon found the answer you need.
I put fuel cut off switch fiat punto into google and in seconds I found this....
just get your hand right under the centre of the centre console. Reach behind the carpet and you should feel a rubber switch
So is it UNDER the carpet then?
under the brassy shaft of the right hand drive clutch rod? as in under where the radio goes, go deep and lift the carpet then rummage?
can get to it without dismantling anything. Just reach toward the centre front of the car and pull back the carpet. can't miss it.
