Nissan Almera won't accept fob reprogram?

I have tried the "turn on & off 6 times, wait for two flashes, hold unlock & lock three times, etc." but will not flash that it has accepted the reprogram.

Thanks Gilly, but I have tried all the tips I could find, and nothing works. Tested the battery & was fine, am unable to get the reprogram to be accepted even within the short timeframe. I think it has finally burned out? Thanks though :)

i had same prob on my x-trail i was not turning on fast enough it has to be done inside 10 sec hope this helps.
