HOW TO DIAGNOSE FAULT ON FDW60?

I HAVE A HOTPOINT FDW60 DISHWASHER. LATELY THE MACHINE IS BECOMING VERY DIRTY INSIDE WITH A STICKY BLACK RESIDUE.....POTS ARE CLEAN BUT NOT PERFECT....BUT THE RACKS AND ARMS ARE BECOMING VERY DIRTY...IVE CLEANED FILTERS OUT BUT WITHIN A WEEK ARE DIRTY AGAIN....ALSO AFTER THE WASH HAS COMPLETED RATHER THAN DRYING LIGHT FLASHING THE DELICATE LIGHT FLASHES...
ANY ADVISE PLEASE

I just had this problem Fixed this morning.

The error for just the delicate light is time out waiting for heat. The Tech that came said there was 2 solutions for this.

1. the main thermistor circuit is gone
2. the heater element is gone.

hope this helps.
