vauxhall zafira intermitent power loss?

i have a 2003 zafira a.sometimes when im driving, usually either changing up to 2nd gear or even down on some occasions,i get a sudden lack off power like the throttle isnt working.the car doesnt accually stall,it just goes to idle.if i lift my foot off the accelerator & put it back down again it goes again as normal.theres no misfire & the engine doesnt stall.im wondering if the electronic pedal is the fault here.theres no engine management light on & no codes.i was going to buy a pedal for it but wanted to see if anyone had come across this problem first.it never does it as high speed, only when going through the gears which is pointing to the throttle pedal in my eyes

i had this happen on my 52 plate..it turned out it was the spark plug pack..the bit that holds what used to be known as spark plugs..its in the same place as they used to be. i think its called an electronic pack. i know this, that a gen part is very very expensive so my mech/tech found an after market replacement for less than 1/2 the price of the gen part! it came with a years g/tee as well. the thing is ,as its moulded in one piece, you cannot change the faulty part, but for the price i paid with the g/tee for a year, i got a year free of worry, and my mechtech said if one had failed the others would have followed so even if he could have just swopped the faulty part, it would have cost more than the whole thing. hope this helps, all i have to do now is find someone to tell me how to fix my roof lining drop..its getting worse!!
