I would make sure the engine isn`t seized and try turning the engine by hand on the crank bolt,you don`t say if it is the 1.3 or 1.7 but never turn the 1.3 anti clockwise or you will have timing chain problems,make sure the battery is fully charged plus another problem you may encounter is the clutch plate seized/sticking on the input shaft splines or flywheel,good luck.
