does not print full amount on till entry?

When i enter an amount say £12:50, it shows on the till
roll as 12: 0. it misses the 5. if i ring in 12:00 it enters the amount correctly. The register is a SAMSUNG ER-290.
Is this a problem i can fix or do i need an engineer.

Sounds like one of the rings is faulty on the printer drum. I don't think an engineer can do anything for you. You will need to see a cash register technician for repairs.
