how to change a starter?

My 1996 nissan maxima won't start it just goes click so I'm thinking its the the starter or maybe the alternator but I'm sure its the starter. How do I change a starter on a 1996 nissan maxima?

if ur sure its the starter. buy a replacement and try and find the old one it will look the same.to help u the starter will be bolted on to the gearbox near where the g/box is bolted onto the engine. once located. firstly disconnect the battery. unbolt starter using the new starter as ref, to which bolts to remove there should be a thick and thin wire to remove also .then reverse the process.good luck!
