What does F-05 mean. This is a Hotpoint Aquarius WF470 1400spin?

My washer has stopped in the middle of a wash, flashing the phrase F-05, it will not spin or drain the water.
I have no look with washers, nomally i just buy a new one instead of getting them fixed, i do wash about 4 times a day, do not know if washer can handle it.

just means the machine needs to be serviced normally coins and pieces of fabric and pocket contents will collect in the filter remove and clean and the error will go off

I have had exactly the same today. Hotpoint tell me its a "communication" problem on the PCB and want £100 to come out. You have had an answer as to a Blocked pump or filter but I can not find any filters to unblock....have you had any luck????
