You can replace the belt it's a bit of a fiddle though. There are a number of screws holding the main casing together and you need to take off the control panel too you shouldn't need to take off the back panel as this really only covers the heater.

To start make sure the machine is unplugged.

You need to take the front off the dryer to place the new belt over the drum. First find and remove the screws at the bottom of the front casing that hold the casing on. Next you need to remove the knob from the control panel and remove the screw holding on the panel, there are 2 screws (maybe more) behind the control panel that also hold the front casing on. Once you've removed the screws you should be able to edge the front panel away from the drum and slip your new belt over the front of the drum, be careful as there is a sensor attached to the door rim and you don't want to have to replace that too.

With the new belt on feed the lower end through the tensioners and over the motor spinle, give the belt a tug to see that it will move the drum. Button up the front panel reattach the control panel and give it a spin.
