My washing machine Bosh keeps turning the power off?

Hi there,

I have a washing maching Bosh Logixx 8 Sensitive WAS 28740, and every time that I try to turn it on to do some washing, it switch off the power in all of my home.
Why?

Thank you for your time and help.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

It seems that I will have to call a technician tomorrow morning to see if it can be fixed.
The machine is about two years old.

Have a good day.

I'm unable to properly answer your second question - it may be a low cost simple fault and it may be an expensive fault.

Whichever it is - the cost of the repair engineer will be a significant factor.

As for replacing it - the age of the machine might suggest what you might do.

You might call in an engineer for a diagnosis and a cost estimate - then make your decision.

Thank you for the reply.

Does it mean that the machine is Kaput/dead and that I would be better off to buy another one?

Thanks again, and have a good day.

It's a safety thing.

The washing machine has an electrical fault with power running to earth (ground).

On the fuse/consumer/distribution board is a circuit breaker that detects the Earth leakage situation - it turns off all power in case the leakage to earth is through a person.

Search: Residual Current Device (RCD)

Have you washing machine repaired - unplug it meanwhile.

Good luck..., June 2015
