Is the same wattage used for the top oven as is used for bottom oven, ie the manuals says 4.7kw

4.7Kw will be the combined wattage of both ovens - if one oven is bigger than the other then the wattages will vary accordingly.

My double oven side by side is 5.2Kw in total - the rating plate does not give the rating per oven.

You do not say the make & model of your oven - but no matter.
