My creda T622cw Condensor Tumble dryer does not heat up?

My creda T622cw does not heat up. The drum rotates but does not dry clothes. I have carried out all the reccommended checks i.e. filters are free of lint and water chamber empty. The dryer is 18 months old

some creda driers have a resettable thermostat, insert a needle into small hole in the back of the stat, between the terminals, until you hear a click.

Hi Debbie,

This is a common fault and is 99% the thermostat kit that needs replacing. They come as a pair and are located above the heater element behind the rear cover - just a matter of replacing about a dozen screws. You need part number 1701583:
