Error Code on the clock of Rowenta Pro Benchtop Oven?

I live in Australia the small appliance repair centre I contacted said they could not assist me with the Rowenta oven as there was no way to get the parts that might be required in Brisbane or Australia for that matter. I sent a message via the website address in the Rowenta Manual www.moulinex.co.uk with no reply to date. My enquiry relates to the Rowenta Pro oven I have which up until a few days I loved and used regularly. However while baking a cake it stopped cooking. All lights went out and the element turned off. I checked the power and after changing plugs etc I realised the lights on the dial panel would come on only if the temperature control was turned off. The timer section will only show 888 and all lights disappear again when I turn the temperature dial back on and this occurs on any setting ie grill or oven. There is a red light on the little lock symbol though i am not sure why this is on as I did not set any security the system has built in. It may have turned this on as the element stopped working and this is a security feature that comes on automatically in instance of element failure. Or it might be electrical in terms of the controls panel electronics. I simply don't know the answer though someone of course does. I just want to know if it’s worth trying to source the parts for repair or dispose of it and purchase a new oven. I bake a lot and simply need an oven. I live in a small rented place. An electrician advised me that the electricity set up of the two story house (I live in the lower level) cannot support a normal built in oven. The kitchen space is also too small really to have an oven fitted in any case. So I need a bench oven. Thank-you for any assistance you could provide me in relation to this matter.
